I moved to Denmark in 2001 and during the past 10 years I've experienced many things. As you know I'm originally from Brazil, and the cultural impact was huge. But I've learnt a lot and the most interesting thing for me was to find out that you have to leave your own country in order to learn more about it.
The capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, is a very beautiful city and I'd like to introduce you to some of the tourist attractions in the city. In this section you will find pictures, tips and short descriptions of places of interest.
I like the architecture of the old European cities and I think Copenhagen is one of the most charming cities I've seen. This said, then you might guess that I take picture of buildings and not nature.
Pictures of Copenhagen
In 2004 I had this project: Take pictures of the city during the different seasons of the year. During late Spring/early Summer I walked around the entire city taking pictures and more pictures. Then the Fall came and I guess I'm not very fond of walking around when the weather is cold, humid and windy. So it took me several years to gather photos enough for the Winter album and I have to say that I'm not quite finished yet. And maybe I never will, as the city is constantly evolving. From the literally thousands of pictures I've taken, I selected the best shots and compiled them in the two albums below. Now you have an opportunity to see the city through my lenses. :-)
